music by: Illegal Immigrants
The Illegal Immigrants are Harin (guitar/ voice/ backing vocals), Svetlana (keybords), Matt (drums) and Ida (voice/ percussions/ backing vocals).
Believing that music speaks a universal language, the Illegal Immigrants see the world as too big and facetted to get stuck in one genre. They mix rock, punk and soul with traditional Sri Lankan gataberaya beat and a touch of raggae (just sometimes...). No matter what backgrounds and cultural differences...the Illegal Immigrants play it all. Having the heart of true activists they are passionate, the band is not scared to translate their feelings, passions and dislikes in music. Although the Illegal Immigrants write their own songs arrangements, they like 'to mess up' famous songs and play some good covers.
